Top Keto Sugar-Free Syrups

Lakonta Maple Syrup

Lakanto Maple Flavored Syrup Sweetened with MonkFruit
Lakonta Maple Flavored Syrup is a wonderful replacement for regular maple syrup when you are following the ketogenic diet.
Out of all of the sugar-free maple syrups listed in this article, Lakanta Maple Flavored syrup tastes the closest to maple syrup. I would say it’s the best sugar free maple syrup on the market for the keto diet.
** Keep in mind it says flavored syrup and not maple syrup. It will not be 100 percent like high sugar maple syrup.
This review of Lakanto Maple Flavored Syrup is not base on comparison to real maple syrup. That would be no competition and this maple flavored syrup would seem like garbage.
The syrup taste of this keto friendly maple syrup is very good. It’s not very thick which may be a deterrent for some people. I personally don’t mind the thinness of the syrup as it makes no difference to the texture of the low carb pancakes.

There is a slight aftertaste as there is with most products sweetened with artificial sweetener. However, this product has much less aftertaste than products sweetened with stevia.

The maple flavor masks the Monk Fruit Extract very well.

When you put the keto-friendly maple syrup on some pancakes the aftertaste is more like a nice maple flavor. It’s a wonderful sensation for your tastebuds.

An unknown low carb sugar on the market is Allulose. To learn the full history of alluose check out Kellie’s Kitchen Article on Allulose .

Basically, allulose is derived from natural sugars such as figs, dates, raisins, corn and what. It’s 100% plant based and does not cause your insulin to raise. It also bakes and cooks 1:1 as  sugar replacement!

Allulose also makes a killer good keto maple syrup for pancakes.

The thickness of AlluLose Maple Flavored syrup is a little thinner than real maple and it is very close to maple syrup taste.

This maple flavor syrup substitute has caramel coloring in it. The cost is a little high, but cheaper than alot of the alternative keto syrups.

Overall, there is no artificial taste, stickiness, or insulin spikes with this allulose sweetened sugar-free maple syrup.
