This review of Lakanto Maple Flavored Syrup is not base on comparison to real maple syrup. That would be no competition and this maple flavored syrup would seem like garbage.
The syrup taste of this keto friendly maple syrup is very good. It’s not very thick which may be a deterrent for some people. I personally don’t mind the thinness of the syrup as it makes no difference to the texture of the low carb pancakes.
There is a slight aftertaste as there is with most products sweetened with artificial sweetener. However, this product has much less aftertaste than products sweetened with stevia.
The maple flavor masks the Monk Fruit Extract very well.

Due to the very low due to the very low net carb count you would expected it to taste bad, but it doesn’t! It has a very rich flavor and is very similar to maple syrup and mrs. buttersworth sugar-free maple syrup brand.

For the price, this is a stellar maple syrup option for your diet. If you want to keep your blood sugar under control, this is an awesome option for your efforts. The syrup is very thin like real maple syrup and has good flavor with no after taste.
In conclusion, no low carb maple syrup substitute is ever going to taste exactly like the real maple syrup. If it’s an option for you just eat real maple syrup in moderation.
